Nice and its surroundings have much to offer - sea, sun, skiing in winter, good restaurants, medieval villages, opera, sightseeing in the old town and trips along the beautiful Cote d’Azur to famous places such as Cannes, Antibes, Menton and Monaco all of which are within easy driving distance (see the table below) or can be reached by train.
For those interested in walking, there are literally hundreds of mountain walks in the Alpes Maritimes (30 minutes drive away) which are all clearly marked and graded to suit your individual needs or fitness levels. For golfers there are numerous courses in the area.

There are inexpensive air fares to Nice. The flat is situated on a regular bus route which starts outside the building and goes direct to the town centre (20 minutes) via the Promenade des Anglais and the beach (10 minutes).
